My personality doesn't fit At least it is a valid excuse

 One of the benefits of getting (or being forced to get) a new phone is the opportunity to rethink which apps you really need on it. One still cannot delete unnecessary apps that Google thinks are necessary, but I digress.  I was sorting through an old note taking app that I had not opened in years when I came across this, dated August 23, 2016: One of the apps on my phone is now starting to flash Donald Trump ads at me. They are trying to present him as a heroic leader of men. One image has him in a pose that I am sure I have seen in a painting of George Washington. My personal status, since I am not American, or even a resident, is that of interested bystander (or maybe horrified witness), but honestly, in no way do these ads even remotely improve my opinion of this buffoon. In fact, I would take them for parodies, if it were not for their air of deliberate gravity.
